"Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down." (Jigar Gor)
I went to my first Yoga class about 22 years ago whilst studying in Eastbourne in the hope that it would cure my neck and shoulder issues. It did just that and much more! Since I began my journey I have been influenced by styles such as Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vajrasati, Iyengar and Hatha Yoga. About 10 years ago I decided to share my passion with others and enrolled for Teacher Training with the British Wheel of Yoga, the largest Yoga organisation in the UK. In 2017 I trained in Yoga Hormone Therapy with Brazilian Psychologist and Yoga Therapist Dinah Rodriguez. Not only is Dinah with 94 years an inspiration but the power of Yoga Hormone Therapy is incredible and I am excited to have the honour of passing this natural powerful method on here in Brighton, helping women before, during and after menopause. My approach to teaching yoga is gentle, down-to-earth, mindful, passionate and with a little sense of humour. Class sizes are small so I can give everyone the attention they need and offer modifications where necessary. The Yoga Hut Hangleton Studio offers beautiful views of nature and provides you with all the equipment. It is in Hangleton and easily accessible by public transport. There is also free parking.
